Wood Burned Originals

My wood burns below represent a different way to break into the fine art mold in a new, upscale way by combining elegant architecture with art through various wood design.

My pieces below are done with a pyrography pen tracing out a landscape scene and then shaded in using various temperatures to achieve contrasting colors in the burn to bring a design to life. The relationship with the wood grain is crucial.

I often mix my portrait with watercolors and acrylic paint to further detail a landscape and create a multidimensional effect.

I elevate the artwork with pine and have it framed.  Although different from canvas work, wood looks really great on all interior walls and bring a lively yet clean, cohesive design to each space.

I hand frame and stain each piece on pine wood and all pieces are ready to be hung up.
