Ranges Of The West Original Wood Burn Painting

The Inspiration

This piece was inspired by all the major mountain ranges of the Western United States. At the top you will see The Grand Tetons, underneath that you will see the Sierras, then Glacier National Park Mountain ranges, and then lastly the Sawtooths in Idaho. All of these are done with it's own variety of colors that I felt fit the feeling each range put out. If mountains had their own signature colors that is! The lines from the Wood Burn create emphasis on the detailing of rugged lines. Original wood burned art set to make a difference in a home space or office. Pairs so well with other art pieces and furniture.

Dimensions: 17 3/4th" width x 17"height x 2" depth including frame.

Frame: Solid Pine Floater Frames, Stained with Dark Walnut wood color.

Medium: Wood burned drawing and shading and water color to create a faded look so that I did not overshadow the wood grain.
