About Me

Hello,

My name is Kendall Green, I am based in Bend, Oregon and I am the artist behind Into the Mystic Fine Arts.

I got my bachelor's degree at Oregon State University and have resided in the PNW ever since. I love to take advantage of all the trails around the areas for hiking and camping and I feel the most freedom when waking up with coffee by the river :) I do not drink alcohol because I felt that being hungover stunted my productivity and wow the amount of creative energy I have gained back since removing it from my life has been leveled to when I was young and had no other responsibilities other than to create. It's been such a healing process inviting painting back into my life!

I am deaf and often will say that my eyesight senses are extra heightened and is probably responsible for my love for colors. Which you will see a ton of color inspirations in my work :)

I truly believe that small joys each day compound to higher levels of happiness over time. I've come to appreciate slowing down and taking it all in, being present, as well as I possibly can. My expression of embracing these moments is by using strong vibrant colors and lines to try to grab the memory of presence and bring it to life. I use acrylic paint pouring techniques to represent constant change and the power of going with the flow, and woodburning techniques to bring out intricate details that make landscapes so unique.

I aim to paint collections for those creating a space within their homes and want to be reminded of their light, everyday.

All pieces are done on either canvas or birch wood and are all hand-stained and framed in pine.

My creative process is everchanging like leaves on Aspen. My words and ideas are constantly evolving, whether toward landscape or toward abstract, or an entirely unknown beast in between- I aim to at least always be charging in a forward direction. So, thank you for being on this journey with me!

-Kendall
