Under The Harvest Moon Original Wood Burn Painting

The Inspiration

This piece was inspired by a photo that was taken by my love. Out in Eastern Oregon, a usually bare place except for some golden hills, there are pockets of places that hold so much peace and tranquility. A perfect place to view a Harvest Moon. I wanted the sky to be subtle and faded looking as an inspiration to capture the immensity of the moon's glow, while also being able to let the natural wood grain shine through! The lines from the Wood Burn create emphasis on the detailing of rugged lines. Original wood burned art set to make a difference in a home space or office. Pairs so well with other art pieces and furniture.

Dimensions: 24 3/4th" width x 13"height x 2" depth including frame.

Frame: Solid Pine Floater Frames, Stained with Dark Walnut wood color.

Medium: Wood burned drawing and shading and acrylic painting to create a multi-dimensional effect when looking at the piece head on. I also used Water color to create a faded look so that I did not overshadow the wood grain.
