Wood Burned Originals

Inspired by the feeling of embracing stillness and energetic gratitude.

My wood burn artwork pieces are done with a Pyrography pen tracing out a drawing and then shaded in using various temperatures to achieve contrasting colors in the burn to bring a design to life. Often mixed with watercolor and acrylic detailing to create a multidimensional effect with my subjects. Rarely will you see wood burn artwork paired with paint, and often you will find wood burn with live-edge wood, but I prefer to elevate the art with pine and having it framed. These wood burns have intricate details that allows the spectator to stop to look. Something I have enjoyed watching at art shows! Although different from canvas work, wood looks really great on all interior walls and bring a lively yet clean look to each space. Would be stand out yet great addition to your growing mini art gallery.

I hand frame and stain each piece on pine wood and all pieces are ready to be hung up.
