Grand Prismatic Original Wood Burn Painting

The Inspiration

The feeling of being in Yellowstone National Park, surrounded by its primitive lamdscape, locked away in time. I wanted to capture the raw colors o the land that remain untouched while bringing to life the Grandness of the Grand Prismatic Spring. I hope to elicit feelings of peace and surrender - to the things bigger than us. The lines from the Wood Burn create emphasis on the detailing of rugged lines. Original wood burned art set to make a difference in a home space or office. Pairs so well with other art pieces and furniture.

Dimensions: 24 1/4th in x 23 1/2 in with frame included around the edges.

Frame: American stain color on Pine, 2in of depth, flushed with the piece. 

Medium: Wood burned drawing and shading and acrylic painting to create a multi-dimensional effect when looking at the piece head on. Paint Pouring for the Grand Prismatic to capture the color and fliudity of the waters.
