Inspiration: Mars Apart is one of the more thought-provoking pieces that I have created. Based on the cultural idea of going to Mars, and the rush there is to get there, I often wonder what would happen once humans did finally step foot? I imagine the night skies are brighter and more vivid, sure, but the landscape could never compare to what we have here. An eerie silence of so much unknown. So, would you feel solitude and peace being so far away? Or would you have a newfound appreciation for all the beauty we have here....
The night skies and deep space used to scare me, but now I understand that we come from the stars, and that's where we will head back to, painting the cosmos bring me peace knowing there are things bigger than us out there. With so much color going onto infinity.
